All profits from this New England flag (c 1690) print from The Old Try will go to support those affected by the bombing yesterday at the Boston Marathon. #patriotsday
Sidenote: the pine tree (as featured here in a George Cross) is a longtime symbol of New England, used at battle of Bunker Hill, and a huge FU to the English who were trying to keep all the King’s pine (trees over 12” in diameter) for use as single stick navy masts. Great print by some fine people - and a good cause.
